Ghosts

Experiment
What remains of the object when it disappears? For us it remains in memory, in nature it will remain as a physical trace. This trace bears not only the shape and volume of the object but also it's chemical and physical properties. This imprint can be called a "ghost" of the object. This ongoing experiment explores the link between the object and its ghost and between the object and its properties.
For an experiment, an old nail was chosen. The nail was very rusty, it was evident that it was in the wood for a long time, and if it had been there for more, it would have completely dissolved. The ghost of the nail was made by recording the properties of the material, such as conductivity and magnetic properties.
